Your profile:
We are looking for a versatile and intermediate structural engineer to join our dynamic team at DPHV.

Your responsibilities will include designing steel, reinforced concrete and wooden structures in accordance with current codes and regulations, in collaboration with our design and engineering team. You will also participate in the detailed development of plans and specifications, as well as in the production of technical reports.

We are looking for a versatile person, capable of effectively managing numerous projects simultaneously.

Your main responsabilities

  • Perform the design and project management of various steel, concrete and wooden building structures in commercial, residential, institutional and industrial projects;
  • Supervise the preparation of plans and specifications with the modeling team;
  • Ensure the administrative and technical management of customer accounts;
  • Carry out surveys of existing installations when required;
  • Write technical expert reports.

 

Your qualifications:

  • BAC in civil engineering or building engineering with a specialization in structures
  • Master\'s degree in structures (asset)
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience - experience in the field of consulting engineering in Quebec will be considered an asset
  • Valid ASP card
  • Must have a driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel (asset)
  • Knowledge of ETABS, SAP and SAFE software
  • Team player, resourceful, able to work independently and well-organized
  • French, spoken and written (compulsory)
